Without knowing much about the game, here are some ideas that I have not tried yet but I think should work.

Get a list of common crafting mats. Either gather them or buy from the broker in bulk. Then go set up a shop near the crafters. Start with a competitive markup but over time make it more aggressive. Get them use to the idea that when they see you, you will have the mats they need. If they dont have to run to the broker then you have a customer. You can justify higher prices for the time you save them and the fact they can buy exact ammounts. Not the mixed stackes they get off the broker.

Watch the DE market. Search for gear thats selling very low and break it down and relist the enchants on the broker. I expect to see a huge market here someplace. It can be a lot of work checking the conversions or watching for low priced things. I don't have any good idea to do that yet, but once I get into this market later on I will figure it out.

Use more alts. Take the time to level all your slots to 10 and get them to the first city. This will let you break large stacks of things down and sell them in smaller stacks much easier. Also having them close to the bank will make it easyer to save extra stuff to them.

Watch for trends in the broker. Some things will sell better to the leveling crowd and others to the raiding crowd. And by leveling I also include leveling professions. Some of the best selling items are those used for leveling professions by higher level players. The ones that do not want to take the time to gather them. This also applies to the raiders.

All my auctions sold. I didn't have much to sell, just drops and gathered items from questing. But everything I had listed sold. I am only 1/2 into 13 and sitting on 82,177 kin.

So i will post a little more and get back to questing.

Stacks of things on the Broker

Sometimes there is a market for small stacks. The case where you just need to make 1 or 2 more of something. If the buyer is faced with several large stacks at a great price or a small stak thats about what they need, they will buy it even if its not as good of a deal. Any time they buy extra mats and don't resell them then they over paid.

I have had a bit of luck selling small stacks at double the unit price as long as the total price is a good deal cheaper than the other stacks. In this case you are targeting the buyer and focusing on what they need.

Level 13 50,306 kin

I went and picked up my spell books for level 13. 4 of them set me back 7744 kin. Wow, the prices of these go up quick.

After I buy those books, I had 50,306 kin left. I already visited the broker and tossed up as much as I could. I also upgraded my personal cube to level 2 and upgraded the bank once. Back space pays for its self. I remember that from other games.

Dying is getting expensive now. I think I am starting to get a head of my level. That an over confidence is killing me.

So far, undercutting deeply in the broker is paying off. I am getting some things sold fairly quickly. I am also over pricing small stacks. I make my stack of 5-20 the cheapest in the ah, but have my price per item way up. I still need to play with that yet.

Personal stores did better for me in the start area. Probably because they are new to everyone and every drop you have is an upgrade to the starter gear they have.

Level 10 with 35,642 kin

I just hit level 10 and I am sitting on 35,642 kin. It is going to be hard for me to get used to these numbers.

Your first private store

It is a good idea to try and sell things in your private store. I found that I can geet a good deal of things sold that way.

I you are a low level, that first town is great for selling lvl2-7 gear. Set up shop and go afk for a moment. Take your 5 min break. If the items are realy low level, go stand close to the scout trainer. Most people will be lvl 3 as they run in from that side. They will take a peak at your gear then go check the venders. If your prices are competitive, they will come back for it.

So I have just started AION and this is my first sugestion. I am still very low level and do not know the value of kin yet. I am level 8 with 20,000 of it. So it looks like it is realy easy to get.

I just discovered this site http://www.aionfly.com/ while looking up AION information. They have this Kinah Guide that had a lot of good information.

Now I don't know a lot of informatin about this game, but it sounds like the economy is interesting. I discovered this site because of a thought I had. This game is not new, just new to us. I know some things are different, but the economy within the game is the same. I expect things to be different because of the lack of end game players. But all the good farm spots and AH tricks should still exist.

I got searching for Kinah and thats how I found this site. That and a food deal of Kinah selling sites, but what can you do.

I run a blog where I talk about making gold in Warcraft. I am playing with the idea of playing AION. If I do pick the game up, I know I will get involved in the gold making side of things. I don't think I should crost post.

For now this is just a placeholder. If I do pick the game up and run with it, I will let you guys know. I will feature a post on my other blog for those that read it.
